Jay, Jesse, Luke: the brothers are the owners of this 4th generation farm.

A little farm history trivia.

1952: Ernest Meerman bought an Allis-Chalmers WD-45 (we think brand new or a couple years old). Shown above are Ernest's children: Nancy, Faith, Louise, and Steve (driving); as well as Glen Horling, their cousin. The tractor is parked in front of the only surviving original building on the farm: the Alpha/Omega building where the chicks are raised on one side, and the the meat chickens are butchered on the other side.

1990: Steve with his youngest son Jay, in front of the same building, on the same tractor.

Present: Jay uses the WD daily for collecting eggs and feeding the chickens. This same Allis-Chalmers WD 45 has been in almost continuous use for almost 60 years!
